In order to attend the 4th Europe-Iran Forum, some individuals will need to secure a short-stay business visa from the Swiss authorities. The Swiss Embassy in Tehran has kindly provided clear guidelines for the visa application process for nationals applying from Iran. Similar guidelines will apply for those applying from other countries.
It is strongly recommended that any visa applications be made as soon as possible. Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis, and due to high volumes, processing may exceed normal times. Individuals will need to register for EIF4 before an application is made in order to receive a formal letter of attendance.
Delegates of the Europe-Iran Forum will once again be able to use the services of Avijeh Flight, a leading Tehran-based travel agency. For a standard visa service fee of €350, which includes travel insurance and the Swiss visa application fee, Avijeh will prepare and coordinate the application process. The key steps are as follows:
The event organizers make no guarantees that applicants will secure a visa. The provided letter does not ensure an application will be successful and Bourse & Bazaar and Adam Smith Conferences will have no knowledge of an application or its progress once it is made. In the event a visa application is unsuccessful, the individual can request a refund for the cost of registration as outlined in the event terms and conditions.
